"Alright everything seems good. As of today you're officially discharged." The nurse told Kira with a cheery Irish accent.

She was sweet and had a sort of deer-like appearance. With red hair, small antlers and white freckles. Kira remembered her from her previous visit to the hospital, back when she passed out so long ago.

"Thank you ma'am." Kira nodded.

"I believe your guardian is out filing paperwork at the desk. Here's your clothes and jacket. It's all washed up." The woman said. She handed over a pair of clothes taken from the dorms and a folded jacket.

It was a blue jacket, styled like a Letterman. Several sizes too big for Kira.

Zane's.

Kira realized, looking at it. The jacket he had put on her when they had gotten ready to run. She hadn't seen it since then, she thought they had thrown it out. But there were two small holes on the side, and the fabric around them had lightened. Someone had scrubbed out the blood stains from her gunshot wound.

Kira stared at it. Slipping a finger through the hole to see how big it was.

She felt a heartbeat.

She felt the warm slick feeling of blood coating her hands. She watched as the crimson liquid started to trickle from the hole, spreading to the fabric around it and staining the light blue fabric with brownish-red color.

She pulled her hand back with wide eyes. Her arm was coated in blood, a gun in her other hand.

"What-" Kira stammered. Dropping the firearm. It went off as it clicked to the ground and she heard a feminine scream. A woman collapsed on the ground. Hair white as snow. Eyes golden, filled with tears.

"MY BABY!!! MY BABY!" She screamed. Holding a small infant with a tuft of snowy white hair showing. The baby boy looked up at Kira with eyes gold like honey, it's chest coated in blood.

She woke up.

Kira screamed as she lunged from her bed, falling onto the floor with a cry. She hit the ground with a thud and gasped for breath. Hugging herself.

She felt a cold chilling sweat trickle down her skin. The hair on the back of her neck stood on end and she took frantic breaths to calm herself.

It was a dream.

A Stipid, dumb, fake nightmare. It wasn't real.

The door opened. "Kira? Kira are you okay?! I heard a crash."

Her guardian clicked on the lamp on the desk next to the door. Face worried.

"It's fine..." Kira took a deep breath. "I'm just... Not used to that bed." She whispered. Looking up at the small mattress. It was child sized. Smaller than a twin. She barely fit on it.

"I can get you a new one..." All might whispered. "Is that really it? No. No she had a nightmare again didn't she?"

"No... Not it's fine. I... I want this one." Kira whispered. Rubbing her eyes.

It was her bed.

Her old bed. The child sized bed had sat in her childhood home for years, as though waiting for her to come back...

Which she had.

With the state of UA. And the state of Kira's mind, when she was discharged from the hospital her and her uncle temporarily moved into her childhood home.

Together.

Living in the same house by themselves for the first time ever. It was a little weird but kira was thankful to have some time to rest still. The tranquility of the countryside and the positive memories from her childhood did her some good.

The house was small and needed a little work. But that had been keeping her busy. Her uncle did the interior work, small repairs and a little painting. While Kira worked outside, weeding and cleaning up trash left on the property. It wasn't much but the work kept her distracted.

"Right..." All might whispered. "You sure you're okay?" He asked, kneeling beside her.

"Yeah... What time is it?" Kira asked, wiping her eyes.

"Five in the morning." He responded. Kira nodded and stood up.

"I'm gonna take a shower." She mumbled.

"Maybe you should try and get some more rest." All Might suggested. He didn't know why, Kira had been waking up early every day this week. Since they moved in. Not getting any notable sleep.

"I'm fine." Kira shook her head. 'Not like I can sleep after all of that.'

"Right... I'll-"

"Go back to bed." Kira chuckled, knowing he was gonna try and stay up for her, even though he was still exhausted. "I know you're tired."

"Right..." He chuckled. "Wake me up if you need anything. And I mean anything alright?"

"Alright."

"You're back." Kira said, pulling off the garden gloves she had been using. Her uncle was in the dining room, bags of groceries sitting on the counter ready to be stored away.

"Yeah, I got everything you asked." He nodded at his phone. She had texted him a list of things she wanted.

"Thanks." Kira helped put away groceries.

"Kira... We should talk." He whispered. He took something out of his pocket. "I'm bringing it up... And you don't have to make a decision right now or anytime soon but..." He sighed.

"What?" Kira asked.

"Japan... Japan is falling apart right now. With Shigaraki and the league loose. Things could get dangerous. Even here." He started. The words were practiced as though he had spoken them several times in preparation. "I know you're going through a lot right now so..."

He put something on the table between them. A ticket. "I have a close friend on I-Island. His name is David Shield and he has a daughter around your age. As of now the Island might be the safest place in the world. If you... I've arranged for a private jet. Able to go off radar and under the nose of All for ones ally's, straight there."

Kira stared at the ticket. Realizing what he was suggesting.

He was giving her a ticket out of Japan. Away from the war between heroes and villains.

"You could stay there for as long as you wanted. Even if it's just another week." He said.

"I..." Kira whispered. She hates the fact that she actually found this... Tempting.

The idea of running away.

"But." He pulled something else out and placed it beside the ticket. A rectangle made of plastic with her name and picture on it.

"I've also arranged for the suspension on your hero license to be removed." He added. "Say the word and I'll take you back too UA without a thought. And you can continue your journey there."

Kira looked up at him in shock.

"Both of these offers are always open. If you go to UA and change your mind... If you believe it's too much I can take you back here or too the Island. But if you choose to go there and decide you want to come back after a few days that's okay too." Her uncle put his hand on hers. "I just want you too be safe... I always have. But now I realize it's important for you to be happy. To be able to find where you belong with my support. So what ever you choose..."

"I'll be right behind you."
