"NEEDLESS TO SAY THE FACT THAT YOU'RE THREE STUDENTS DOWN JUST PROVES HOW MUCH OF A BETTER CLASS WE ARE!!!"
"Really? Don't you think he'd give us a break after everything that happened?" Kirishima sweat dropped.
Monoma Cackled in the doorway to their classroom. UA slowed down academic classes significantly since the recent raid. But the class still occasionally met in the school building.
"I think he's having trouble coping with everything that's going on." Momo whispered to the redhead. "So he's going back to how he used to act to make things feel more Normal."
"Wow since when were you a therapist-"
"SHUT THE HELL UP!!! KIRA'S COMING BACK AND THOSE OTHER TWO IDIOTS WERE JUST TOO LAME TO KEEP UP WITH US!!!" Bakugou yelled back.
"Him too?" Kirishima asked Momo.
The girl nodded. "Him too."
She was right of course. Both boys reverted back to their loud personalities and screaming contests as a distraction from the horrible state of UA and Japan in general.
Midoriya had come back a few nights ago. Only to leave a bunch of notes explaining one for all and dipping. No one in the class had heard for him since.
Kira was obviously still in recovery. Both physically and mentally. She had a new phone now and kept contact with the class. Unlike Midoriya.
And of course Shoto was in jail.
But the class was the least concerned with him, simply because well... They were all very angry at him. But there was still a certain measure of unspoken concern over that entire situation. One that they all were too afraid to share.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
"GO BACK TO HELL AND DIE!!"
The two argued loudly at the front of the classroom.
"Hello students!"
"HAHAHAH- ALL MIGHT!" Monoma bowed. "I was just saying hi!" He said, hoping he wouldn't get in trouble for screaming at them again. "I'm gonna leave now-"
All might had just walked up to the doorway. A nervous smile on his face. "No actually... I was looking for you. Vlad king said you might've snuck off here."
Monoma frowned. "Me?" He asked. All might had always looked over the 1A students. The attention from the pro was one of the many reasons he hated the class.
All but Kira at least.
"Yes! We need you... It's a kinda complicated situation but your presence is needed at..." He looked at the class staring at them. Listening curiously. All might leaned in a whispered. "At the hospital." He whispered to the teen.
His brow furrowed in confusion.
"It's a long story, I'll explain on the way." All might smiled. "If you don't mind."

"So? What's the news doc?" Kira asked, sitting on her bed and looking up at the doctor.
After the resident doctors found out that they had NO CLUE what to do in regards to her quirk. They called for a specialist.
Dr Peppy. Who was looking through papers with notes and such related to the tests they ran on both Kira AND Monoma.
The woman sighed and took a sip of her Dr pepper. "Well it's safe to say your quirk isn't and never has been simply 'Mindreading'." The woman stated.
"That label was just slapped on there by your last doctor. Who... Well you know he wasn't good at his job."
Kira nodded in understanding.
"While I can't say for sure I can make a few guesses." She put the papers down. "You remember what I said? About how your mind basically just intercepts other people's brain waves right? The signals sent throughout the body and brain? Your brain absorbs them in order to read thoughts."
"Yeah, but what does that have to do with this?" Kira asked, listening too her thoughts to try and find the answer. All she got was medical mumbo-jumbo though.
"Basically Everytime your brain comes across new brain waves it mutates just slightly in order to intercept them. Like a quick software update. It's immediate and you don't notice anything different." Dr Peppy explained. "I think that is your quirk. Once you invest someone's blood your body changes even more for as long as you're touching it. Mutating to not only see through their eyes, but also changing to where you can send signals BACK to that person. So we know DNA can strengthen your connection to a person. Or rather cause your brain too mutate just a little bit more."
"So the blood transfusion... It mutates me more?" Kira asked.
"Yes. Your quirk causes your body to change in order to almost match those around you. Trying to intercept their signals and thoughts. Like you're trying to copy them. You see your and Neito Monoma's are actually quite similar. Both automatically adjust your body in order to borrow genetic information. Which is why I think the blood transfusion lead to this." The doctor continued.
This was a private meeting, Monoma was in another room getting a simple check-up and having a small amount of blood taken for a little more research.
"Though I won't say for certain, I'm not sure if you'd have this same exact effect from most people's blood." Peppy looked over the notes again. "But since we know your quirk mutates you when exposed to other people's DNA, and Neito Monoma's does the same. There might have been a reaction because of it. Since his blood contains his DNA and his quirk is written into said DNA his blood and your body both reacted to it. Your body absorbed information, and unlike when you ingest it your body completely used it as it's own. Mutating your body significantly more than in any other circumstance. As permanently as far as we can tell."
"Sounds like that whole cellular memory theory." Kira mumbled. "That cells hold memory and stuff, so when someone receives an organ transplant they say they change a little."
"Yes, though that's just a theory as of now. There hasn't been enough research or evidence to prove it's real." Peppy nodded. "It's similar to what's going on, but you took in genetic information, not memories."
"Right." Kira nodded.
"We're not sure how long this will last though, it's possible the effect will wear off in a week or so. I'll keep giving you check-ups every other day to monitor the changes. As of now it's safe to say you have a diluted version of Monoma's quirk." Peppy stood up, ready to leave. "Call me if anything different happens, and I'm sure you're smart enough to figure this out on your own but... Don't go around using every quirk you can copy. It might be tempting but it can also be very dangerous."
Kira nodded. "Yes ma'am." She said with a lazy smirk.
As far as they could tell Kira could copy one quirk at a time. For a little over one minute after touching someone. While Monoma on the other hand could control up to three for three minutes each.
According to Monoma Kira's copy of his quirk was equal to his when he was around ten years old. But since it wasn't HER quirk they didn't know if she would be able grow it's power like he did.
At this point... They didn't know anything.
A/N: RAHHH INFO DUMP SCIENCE CHAPTERRRRRRR
(All of this is basically nonsense I made up. *Except cellular memory that's a real theory* so if it doesn't make sense that's why!)
(Yes this is the same meme as last time. Fight me.)
